What Pro actually unlocks

The MCP connector puts Polimeme inside your assistant as a tool it can call. Ask it to open today's discussion on migration, check which national presses are absent, search those languages for what they published instead, and write you the comparison. That is one prompt, not an afternoon. It reaches further than the site does: search covers pieces that were never clustered or classified.

How to connect

Claude.ai: Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector, URL https://polimeme.com/mcp, OAuth fields empty. ChatGPT: Settings → Connectors → Add, same URL. No keys to copy — registration is automatic.

What's not included in Free?: Nothing you read. Every discussion in every layer is open, with its complete argument map, plus the river, the search and the daily archive. What the plans add is the system doing work for you between visits: following authors and topics, alerting you when something matches, tracking how positions shift, and the full source and author directory — the whole watchlist as pages, not just what is in today's discussions.
Why are all the layers free?: Because the regional and domestic layers are the argument for Polimeme, not a reward for paying. Reading the Polish, Swedish and Greek opinion pages in their own languages and telling you what they are arguing about is the thing you cannot do yourself — hiding it behind a plan left only the layer you already find elsewhere on show. The plans are for readers who want the system to keep watching once they have seen what it does.
Why is Pro priced above Insider by that much?: Because it replaces work, not just reading time — a monitoring desk, a clipping service, an analyst's morning. The export and the MCP connector are what a team hands to another tool or another person. If you are an individual reader, Insider is the plan.
Can I cancel?: Any time, and you keep access to the end of the period you paid for. No call, no retention script.
Do you take institutional or team accounts?: Yes, but not self-serve yet. Write to paulo@polimeme.com and say roughly how many people and what you need to monitor.
